Zaire is by the famous Sire Indoctro out of a Marlon Dam. Having loose jumped him for the first time this morning after selecting him whilst abroad, it was quite awesome he went 220m over a 1m fence
Spring 2008 : We broughht Zaire in for breaking in the Autumn he took to saddle and rider with tremendous enthusiasm and has since attended a couple of shows. He is very bright and quick to learn eager and has the scope in his ridden jump to go all the way.
Summer 2008 : Now four years, Venues for double clears included Limes Farm Equestrian Centre with Caroline and two double clears at Pycombe in July . In August he reached the finals of the young Horse championships in the 4 year old classes


Jan 2009 In for schooling and planning to enter him in this years Hickstead age classes

2010 Zaire is now based with Mark Williams in the Midlands. Zaire looks to have a good future. Mark is the producer of the famous Ciske Van Overis now based with Jan Topps. We wish Mark all the best with Zaire.
This horse is really coming into his own now.

Zaire has had a fantastic 2010 winning both Newcomers and Foxhunters and in August winning on 2 days running at the EQUI Festival.
Arena UK saw a very good 5th placing in a very competitive and big foxhunter final - video can be viewed below. He finished his 6 yr old year with a win in a Foxhunter at Vale View Equestrian.
We look forward to 2011 with this very exciting prospect by Indoctro.
Zaire has had a really good 2011 he has been jumping a couple of 140m classes and won a few 130m classes, he has just achieved his biggest win to date at ARENA UK.

2012 Zaire and Mark her producer had had a tough year with Mark sustaoning an injury and Zaire having a virus.

March 2013 Caroline had a serious riding accident in which she broke her back. Whilst in recovery in Salisbury Spinal unit, where she believed she may remain wheel chair bound, she decided to buy the share in Zaire from Studukeuro in the belief she would no longer ride again. She wanted a private interest and wished to follow his progress more closely as she would possibly never ride again.


2013 - 7th in the Winter Grade B and C, 1.35m at the Arena UK Premier
The class was THE STARS OF THE FUTURE and a strong first round track was set of 130m and he easily skipped round this then he rose to the challenge of the jump off with his Rider and half owner and they achieved turns that Guy did not try to do fantastic result no one could touch them Shane Breen etc they were in really good company. A big WIN for ZAIRE from serious competition over 150 of the best horses in England. Well done Mark Williams .

August 2013 Zaire has moved to Guy Williams yard to be competed by him at HOYS.
September 26th Arena UK ,Guy qualified Zaire and took him in the Grand Prix there were only twelve clears and Zaire just got put into second place by Cat Walk a seasoned campaigner so £12,000 prize money later we were all thrilled with the ease that this horse found the difficult course and tricky jump off .

HOYS. 2013 he won the Talent Seekers on the first night .

Olympia beckoned and Zaire was on a huge learning curve ,

December 2013 Zaire in Belgium came third in the 145m speed and then on the Monday
Zaire competed in his first World Cup in Mechelen Belgium, with the fantastic riding ability of Guy Williams helping him the whole way round a technically very difficult 16 fence course of true 160m jumps.
What was nice to see was that he went higher over the 160 Oxer's not skimming them at all!!

2014!

Zaire is off to a tremendous start...
January - Placed 3rd in 1.40m at CS15* Mechelen then went onto CS14* Amsterdam and was placed 5th in 1.40m class and 7th in 1.45m.

Feb- Bordeaux CS15* WON International Foire 1.45m class
WON the Big class . 114,000 Euros
Grand Prix Landrover beating Ludger Beerbaum (came 3rd) and Penelope Leprevost on her very fast mare.came second with Zaire knocking over a second off her time .
He is now resting on the Sunshine tour in Spain and is learning to jump the water and outdoor on grass over the big tracks , a few wins and places and then came seventh with the fastest clear in the big Grand Prix at the end but had a four in first round but as only six clears in total he Qualified.
he has now been selected for the Lumhen Nations Cup where he did the best of the British horses .,jumping the water well
June 1st he has arrived in St Gallen for the Swiss Nations Cup --Good luck to the British team .he was the Anchor horse for the team and produced a magnificent clear securing a win for The Uk
Dublin 4th in a 150 m then Nations cup really good At the water both rounds had four faults did well
Next week straight to
London August 2014. ... Global Champions first day clear

Grand Prix was massive. I have never seen such big fences we saw countless faults. Eliminations and Zaire got round with 8 faults

Now back to the Indoor season .... Look out he will be back a stronger more experienced horse
Zaire had two eighth places at Olympia 2014 and jumped very well in a huge Grand Prix .
went to Mechelen and had a third on the first day in a 150m and then a really unlucky four faults in the Grand prix .

2015 Zaire jumped at Lummen and won the three star Grand Prix easily , he Is having an easier,year as he worked very hard last year in countless Nations cups for his country .
2016?He has returned home to me and top class Irish rider Derek McCoppin young and talented , they seem to really be gelling . Zaire has been taught some tricks by the leprechauns all ready
Clear in ranking class in Lummen big track and then the ground got holding for the final Grand Prix and this boy is blood so did not jump .
Wales this weekend May 18th 2016
Zaire had a variety of good results with Derek in the latter part of 2016. The partnership continues to develop in earnest.
2017 Zaire is travelling to Spain for the sunshine tour with Derek McCoppin. we wish them both the very best of luck.
