Stunning 16.2 gelding by son of Calvados El Salvador arrived with us this week. Calvados power and paces has been put to Toulon's Dam Nikita herself . Hence making him the half brother to Belgium's best stallion by Heartbreaker called Toulon and ridden by Peter Geerinck in his early career and the french Jockey Hubert Bourdy. This makes this gelding a very exciting prospect he is 4 years old and jumping small courses. The photo is of Toulon which gives you some idea of the gelding's promise. We believe he has the scope to make top level, he is very good looking with lovely paces and a bold attitude. Belgian auction viewing took place last Friday 9th. Many purchasers attended the Panhof Peer Belgian auction viewing. All the entries made good. There were a couple of wild card entries that seriously caught the eye one was a 3 year old stallion by Contendro who created quite a stir. A futher newcomer was a stallion by Heartbreaker also a top quality selection. Other yongstock that caught the eye this time round included the horse named Da Vinci, the mare Bugs bunny Van Overis ad an outstanding entry by Indoctro not saying that all the others were not spectacular as well. Branco and Ennio Van Overis both Graded by The European Stud Book

These young sires Branco 6yrs our Stallion graded in the last month of 2006 by The European Stud book. Along with our young 3 year old Ennio this is great news and Branco will be standing for natural covering at The Stud in the 2007 season. We will not be standing Ennio commercially in 2007 son of Nonstop will stand in 2008. We are very excited about both . Having already produced two fine colts and a filly (all of which you can see on the site) from Branco we know he can pass on quality to his projeny.
Other news includes the sale of Domenika Van Overis at the Mechelen Auction in Belgium between Christmas and New year 2006. This classy 4 year old filly fetched €18,000 and is a sister to our own Coco UK and from our Broodmare Radjahadamine Du Bois out of Radjah Z
Domenika's Father Elektro was jumping for the Swedish Team with Peter Eriksson at the World Championships in Rome ’98 and at the European Championships in Hickstead ’99. He won the GP at the CSIO Falsterbo, became 2nd in the GP of Drammen and 5th in Rotterdam. Elektro sired also Elton. Elton finished second in the Nations Cup of CSIO Poznan with Sofie Oscarssen.
The dam is a mare out of Radjah Z (Ramiro x Almé). Radjah Z is also the father of Premier Cru and was ridden by Rossen Raitchev at the European Championships in Hickstead and the Olympics in Sidney 2000.

. Due to an earlier injury the young Zangersheide rider Judy-Ann Melchior is actually not able to train and compete all her horses herself. Even with the injury the performances of the last few weeks were excellent and she is actually placed 8 th on the World Cup ranking. Judy-Ann was placed 6 th in the Grand Prix of Lyon (FRA) and 5 th in the World Cup class in Stuttgart (GER).They have been given to Jan Tops rider and the results are outstanding he has come second in the world cup in Las Vegas what a horse ,surely now an olympic prospect.(

We have for Sold a Heartbreaker mare aged 5 years she has incredible markings including four white socks a white blaze and a large splash of white under her tummy. 15.2hh in height with very good confirmation she is atheletic and has real quality to her type. This mare will be a winner at what ever discipline she enters.Her jumping technique is perfect ,tucks up nicely in front and throws her back end away well,will jump many many clear rounds and will be very agile against the clock. A great balanced canter with a level and waiting stride. She has competed at a local level and will soon be competing BSJA.Her temperament is kind and completely non mareish. no vices .Very easy non complicated ride a real pleasure to own and competely unspoilt - The genuine article.
