Branco is a well balanced easy to ride level headed stallion with excellent confirmation. He qualified four year old style and performance in his four year old year with 8 's on his scoring sheet.

He has enormous power to his jump and has all the scope and fantastic technique, at Hicksted he qualified for the main ring and coped really well with the atmosphere for a four year old and came fourth . . Recently he has been placed and won at all his shows but for now he is concentrating on his breeding career.

For breeding purposes he puts on bone, presence, good looks and jump. He stamps grey predominantly onto his progeny and they are all very affectionate nice tempered animals.

Parco the sire of Branco has had an illustrious career with numerous World Cup wins and he competed in the Olympics. He recently has won 2 Major Grand Prix classes with 50,000 euros as prize money and is all set to make his mark at the World Games in Aachen.

His mother by Le Mexico has already bred a gelding owned by the Hales (owners of Arco) and produced by Andrew Saywell.

Graded with the European Stud book on 18th December 2006. Branco is available for natural covering here at the Stud. We do not offer this service any longer, Branco only runs with our mares.

Season 2007 has seen three more foals born all colts two are grey. They are characteristically strong , inquisitive, short coupled and on their feet within in 30 minutes of birth

2008 saw a further 5 Branco youngsters born two were to thoroughbred maes and both look very promising Midnight Star Uk a filly and Sky lord UK are both very good looking youngsters with strong athletic paces.

Season 2010 we find Branco performing over loose jumps in the Stud training school at the second Open Day of the year. Another truly strong and athletic group of youngsters were produced this year and Branco has been put to in excess of 20 mares for 2011. A number of his projeny have sold this season with a beautiful yearling filly out of our Cavalier Royal mare, heading to Malta.

2016 we retired Branco in 2016 from his breeding duties due to injury. He returned to show jumping seamlessly after 10 years as a field stallion . He is truly an extraordinary horse and we wish all his many many offspring and their owners a bright and healthy future.
I rode Branco on Christmas day this year having not sat on a horse fpr atleast 5 years. He loved it and so did I.
