Summary
6yo (2006) very dark bay gelding 16.1hh. . Although he is now gelded he was thought of sufficient quality to present for the stallion test and still looks stallion-esque in appearance.
He has a very good character and is easy in all respects both in and out of the stable. He was fully xrayed as a 3yo ~ xrays are all good with no chips or comments.
He is fantastically well bred from a very strong motherline. Sire is 1.60m Grand Prix showjumper Sydney (also registered as Snaps) who is by Goodtimes. The mother of our horse has several children but all are too young to show results yet. Grandmother is Ster awarded. Greatgrandmother is Ster and Preferent awarded. Great-greatgrandmother is Model and Preferent awarded. From this motherline we get countless top level jumpers and dressage horses plus the following notworthy names; Windsor the 1.60m GP jumper and licensed breeding stallion with Selle Francais studbook, Cosun the Zangersheide approved breeding stallion, Ronaldo, Rockim, Paramis, Galant, Bolera, Don Juan, Imosa, Umosa B and Nester B; all Grand Prix showjumpers, the international dressage horses; Winnie B, Nimos, Limandus, and Rimosa, and Rembrandt the Grand Prix jumper and KWPN approved breeding stallion.
May/June 2012 - Felbridge - he jumped the First class, it is really spooky there and he jumped round well and had just had four faults in jump off. He needs more ring craft but very pleased with him.
He jumps really well at home now, just needs to see a bit more.
Snaps will be a super horse, he has plenty of jump.
End of May he jumped again at Felbridge with a nice double clear, and then went in another ring and jumped round really well - he is going to be a very nice horse with lots of potential.
