This mare by the new Sire Verdi whose father is the reknowned Quidam De Revel argueably one of the most influential sires of his time. Verdi also includes Landgraf as his Dam Sire. Our new, very pretty mare shows great skill over the jump. 2010 she is now under saddle and was a pleasure to break in. She jumps with ease and agility and shows all the ability she had when first bought. She competed at Weston Lawns four year olds and was clear in first round just got tired and four faults in second round, she is now stronger and really finding her feet after a long holiday she is fit and back in work. Been to ten shows and has been placed every time. Guy Williams watched her this week schooling and said that she is a certain winner! He calls her the 'little winner'.

Balarina has qualified for the blue chip winter novice. Caroline rode her and in a hotly contested class with 29 in the jump off, Balarina went early and I did not go too fast as she is still so young but she is brilliant and got her place.

March 2011
At every show Balarina gets placed, we took her to Belgium for the five year olds and she did three wondeful rounds and has been much admired, since back has kept on improving.

April 2011
Balerina on form 24th April. She came third in 105m and then at Felbridge came second out of 100 competitors and then eighth in Discovery out of 80 horses very pleased with her, she is a super horse.
May 2011 won Discovery at Felbridge out of 100 horses she just gets better and better.

Hicksted July 2011 Balerina placed 11th on 1st day out of 150 and then double clears in all rings and placed every day, she has grown mentally from this experience.

This mare is a very interesting prospect as her loose jump showed so much scope and under saddle she never hits a fence and if she has mismeasured a back rail on an oxer she goes again in the air ..
She also has that winning streak as I still have to hold her back from going too fast in the jump offs as she is only just five in age.

Won the Discovery class at Felbridge out of 100 competitors. She is now jumping newcomers with plenty of scope for the future.Won her second newcomers at Felbridge last week and this week won newcomers at Limes Farm she is also jumping foxhunters now .We will aim her at the blue chip qualifiers and the Winter novice for hicksted next year and maybe the grade C .

Now SOLD to a lovely showjumping home with a very nice rider who will under Terry Claygate expert eye realise even more potential .
